  • Contactless Payment: When the transaction is less than €50, you can choose to pay contactless.
  • Mobile Payments: You can pay for your purchases quickly using the mobile payment option. Simply for the items that cost €50 or less with Google Pay or Apple Pay. For items over €50, depending on the retailer, you can pay using Google Pay or Apple Pay.
  • Cash Back: On spending over €5,000 to €50,000 in any 12 months from the date of your account opening, you will receive 0.5% cashback. Cashback awards are calculated every month and credited to your account every month.
  • Visa Luxury Hotel Collection: AIB Platinum Visa cardholders get a unique collection of benefits from the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection. For PAYE employees:

  • The salary requirement is €40,000;
  • The bank statements of last three months, showing your salary;
  • If your salary is mandated to a joint account, you need to submit your last three months’ worth of pay slip;
  • A document to prove your PPSN;
  • If you already have another credit card, submit your last three months’ credit card statements;
  • If your employment age is less than 6 months, you need to submit a copy of a signed contract confirming your income.

For the self-employed:

  • Income must be €40,000;
  • Bank statements of last three months, showing your income;
  • A document to prove your PPSN;
  • Your most recent Notice of Assessment, Balancing Statement, or UK Tax Returns;
  • Income confirmation written by an accountant;
  • Up-to-date financial statements;
  • If you already have a credit card, submit your last three months’ credit card statements.

For retired persons

  • Income must be €40,00;
  • Bank statements for the last three months show up in your pension.;
  • If you already have a credit card, you need to submit your last three months of credit card statement;.
  • A document to prove your PPSN;
  • Document from your pension provider showing your income.
